Once shared by the original races in relative peace, the land has become fractured—divided among human kingdoms, non-human nations, and long-forgotten forces that continue to shape its fate.

Human Kingdoms

Geldanos (Lawful Neutral)
The youngest human kingdom, known for its fertile grain fields and disciplined, modest army. A land of order, tradition, and quiet strength. Though small in size, its people are proud, resilient, and tied deeply to the soil. Its capital is Linden.

Sariyaz (Neutral Good)
The oldest and largest human kingdom. A naval and commercial superpower, Sariyaz controls vital sea routes and hosts the largest standing army in Tarmynia. Known for its diplomacy, trade, and cosmopolitan cities.

Corinthia (Lawful Good)
The smallest of the human nations, famous for its paladins, priests, and devotion to Saint Leanore. A nation ruled by religious authority and moral discipline. Its capital is Leanorem.

Tharmatur (Chaotic Good)
A nation of mages, engineers, and visionaries. Tharmatur is a place where magic and machinery converge—where invention overrides caution, and the future is forged daily in arcane laboratories. Its society thrives on progress, experimentation, and individual brilliance.

Shanda-Wold (Neutral)
An isolated island nation, home of the Shanda-Woldn—descendants of Tarmynia’s original humans. Known for their mastery of shadow magic and their deep spiritual traditions, the Shanda-Woldn vanished from the continent centuries ago after generations of exploitation. Their society is steeped in secrecy, discipline, and self-reliance.

Non-Human Nations

Ansell-Vend (Elven Queendom) (Neutral Evil)
A mysterious forest realm where long-lived elves govern with elegance, detachment, and cunning. Their magic—illusion, enchantment, and nature—serves both defense and manipulation. Some elves find amusement in sowing discord among mortal realms. Their leaders are ancient, their motives opaque.

Darven-Imus (Dwarven Kingdom) (Lawful Neutral)
A mountain-spanning nation of dwarves, famed for their craftsmanship, fortress-cities, and strict adherence to tradition. Their society is built on honor, clan loyalty, and the forge. While slow to change, the dwarves are dependable allies and fearsome defenders.

Grun’Dor (Goblin-Orc Confederation) (Neutral Good)
An unexpected alliance between goblins and orcs. Goblins serve as clever merchants, crafters, and diplomats, while orcs provide protection and muscle. Together, they’ve formed a peaceful and respected trading nation welcomed across the continent.

Shalne-Tadd (The Death Lands) (Chaotic Evil)
A corrupted, blighted land where necromantic forces gather and the dead walk. Once sealed away, the ancient evil tied to this region—known only as the Death God—has begun to stir once more. Shalne-Tadd is feared, avoided, and steeped in death magic.

Ancient History

The Shanda-Woldn were the original humans of Tarmynia, living in harmony with elves, dwarves, goblins, orcs, and other races. They worshipped the Void God, a divine force of balance, and wielded powerful shadow magic.

Ten thousand years ago, the Death God rose and sought to consume the world. The Shanda-Woldn, aided by the Void God, sealed it away—at the cost of the Void God’s life and the decimation of their own people.

Five hundred years later, refugees from a distant land arrived, founding the Old Kingdoms. These newcomers eventually enslaved the remaining Shanda-Woldn, using them as assassins and tools of war. After generations, the Shanda-Woldn fled across the sea and established the hidden island of Shanda-Wold.

Magic in Tarmynia

Magic in Tarmynia varies by region and culture:

Shanda-Wold: Shadow magic, discipline, and internal mastery

Tharmatur: Arcane science, spelltech, invention

Ansell-Vend: Nature magic, illusion, enchantment

Darven-Imus: Runesmithing, elemental enchantment, durable magic

Corinthia: Divine blessings, holy light, sacred relics

Shalne-Tadd: Necromancy, undeath, soul corruption

Current State

The continent stands on the brink of great upheaval.
Undead forces gather in the south.
Ancient shadows stir in the north.
Old alliances fracture while new powers rise.
And a small party of unlikely heroes begins to shape the fate of Tarmynia—one step at a time.

Overview of Tarmynia Tarmynia is a vast and diverse continent marked by ancient powers, political

[1

post-3415","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
